How to stop EarnIn from taking money?

There are two ways to cancel your EarnIn account:

1. In the app: open EarnIn, tap the ≡ icon bottom-right, choose your profile (shows name & phone), hit ‘Close My Account’ and follow the prompts. Make sure any advances are paid off and no transactions are pending; once done, feel free to unlink your bank and delete the app.
2. Via support: email support@earnin.com or start an in-app chat asking to close your account. They’ll confirm your balance is zero, then shut it down.

Settle any outstanding balance first so the process goes through without a hitch.

After analyzing hundreds of reviews posted in June and July 2025, several users expressed frustration about difficulties stopping EarnIn from withdrawing money from their accounts, even after attempting to close or deactivate their accounts.
