Need to close your Vola Finance account quickly? The steps below walk you through the immediate in-app process, outline what happens to fees and access afterward, and show how to solve the most common hiccups.
Cancel in 30 seconds
- Zero the balance: Confirm your Vola cash-advance balance reads 0 in the app.
- Open profile: Launch the Vola Finance app, tap Profile, then the gear icon in the top right.
- Tap cancel: Choose Cancel Service / Unsubscribe (or Delete / Close Account) and confirm the prompt.
- Remove app: Log out, delete the Vola app from your phone to avoid accidental re-entry.
What to expect after submission
The subscription stops immediately, further 17.99 USD (or other) fees end, and the ACH authorization on your linked bank account is revoked. You retain account access until the end of your current billing month, but Vola does not refund any unused days.
Fixing cancellation issues
- Advance still outstanding? Repay first; the Cancel button stays disabled while a balance exists.
- Settings icon missing or Cancel button greyed? Email hello@volafinance.com from your account address asking that the profile be deleted and future debits stopped, then keep the reply as proof.
- No confirmation within 24 hours or another fee posts? Forward the original email again and dispute the charge with your bank if needed.
Billing-cycle timing
Vola bills on the same calendar day you first subscribed. Submit cancellation at least one business day before that date to prevent the next charge.
Extra notes
- Deleting the mobile app alone never counts as cancellation.
- Vola uses direct ACH billing, so there is nothing to end in your App Store or Play Store settings.
- When cancellation is accepted, Vola automatically removes its ACH authorization on your bank account.
That is all you need: clear your balance, tap cancel (or email support), and keep proof. Once processed, no additional fees should ever hit your account.
